Traffic Instructor

We are seeking a traffic instructor for CAP Driving School in Kemi for a permanent position. You can be an experienced instructor or a traffic instructor trainee who has completed a 2.1 part and some independent teaching experience. We tailor the role to your skills, experience and regional preferences. You will work as part of a small, approachable team at the Kemi campus, with collaboration with the Tornio campus and occasional swaps during holidays. You will have responsibility for your work and students, and you will be supported by the local teaching team. Your days run Monday–Friday 8:00–18:00; primary location is Kemi campus, with some rotation between Kemi and Tornio. Your duties include delivering high-quality driver education with the team, guiding students along the driving path, planning and conducting safe and goal-oriented driving lessons, addressing individual student needs, maintaining electronic student records and documentation, utilising digital teaching tools, collaborating with other staff, and participating in developing teaching and customer experience. Requirements include a valid driving instructor license (or for trainees, completion of the 2.1 assessment), strong pedagogical and interpersonal skills, customer-oriented and cooperative working style, ability to work independently within a team, fluent Finnish and good command of English, good IT skills and willingness to adopt new systems and methods. Knowledge of mopeds/motorcycle instructor certification and other languages or experience with digital teaching tools are a plus.
