About the role

We are looking for three school attendance supervisors to Hepokullan School for a temporary employment period from 14 September 2026 to 5 June 2027. As a school attendance supervisor you will work as part of the school’s multidisciplinary teaching team and play an important role in supporting students’ school attendance, learning and wellbeing. Your tasks include guiding and supporting pupils during the school day and collaborating with teachers and other staff. The duties will be determined by the individual needs of pupils and the school’s activities. We are seeking three cooperative, responsible and pupil-centered supervisors. We value good interpersonal skills, flexibility and a positive and encouraging work attitude. A background in the field and previous experience of working with children and young people is considered an advantage. We offer the opportunity to work in a pleasant and professional work community and to contribute to building a safe and good school day for pupils. Employment type: fixed-term. Working hours: as per the teaching assistant role. Employment period: 14.9.2026–5.6.2027. Workplace: Hepokullan koulun. Number of positions: 3. Eligibility requires a suitable qualification in education and guidance, and knowledge area in school attendance and morning/afternoon activities guidance. Applicant will be required to provide a criminal record extract as described in the Act on Background Checks for Those Working with Children. We expect you to meet pupils as individuals, to guide and support the growth of the child/young person, to be linguistically aware and take into account pupils’ linguistic backgrounds, to have good cooperation and communication skills, and to be an active and development-minded team member.
