QA Automation Engineer

Position: QA Automation Engineer\nLocation: Dearborn, MI (Onsite)\nWe are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in Functional Testing to join our dynamic team in Dearborn, MI. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in quality assurance and automation testing, with a proven track record of delivering high quality software products. This role requires a detail oriented individual who can work collaboratively with cross functional teams to ensure the highest standards of quality are met.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional testing of applications.\nCollaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.\nExecute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.\nPerform manual testing as needed to complement automated testing efforts.\nParticipate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.\nContinuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.\nDocument test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and concise manner.\nMentor junior QA team members and provide guidance on best practices in automation and functional testing.\nMandatory Skills:\nStrong knowledge and experience in Functional Testing methodologies.\nProficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar frameworks.\nExperience with programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python for test script development.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD tools and practices.\nExcellent analytical and problem solving skills.\nStrong communication skills, both verbal and written.\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.\nKnowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.\nExperience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.\nFamiliarity with version control systems like Git.\nUnderstanding of database testing and SQL.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\n7-10 years of experience in QA Automation with a focus on Functional Testing.\nProven track record of successful project delivery in a fast paced environment.\nThe pay range for this role is $100,000- $110,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
