Child Day Care Worker

We are seeking a temporary replacement for a child day care worker in early childhood education for the period 1 September 2026 to 31 July 2027. The position may include shift work. As a child day care worker you are expected to have good and versatile collaborative, interactive and teamwork skills. You will participate in and advance the overall planning, implementation, evaluation and development of the group’s activities with your professional expertise. You will participate in cooperation with guardians, other daycare group staff and other partners. Eligibility: as per the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018) section 28. Local base salary: €2,598.37/month. Working time: 38.25 hours/week. Collective agreement: KVTES. The position includes a two-month trial period. Upon appointment you must present a tuberculosis screening in accordance with the Infectious Diseases Act (55§) and provide a criminal record extract in accordance with the Act on Criminal Background Checks (504/2002).
