Kaustisen seutukunta seeks a versatile professional for project, accounting and general administration tasks to support the administration team and to build a development‑minded organization. As a project and accounting secretary your work includes: project secretary tasks in EU-funded and other projects; project accounting monitoring; preparation of funding applications; participation in procurements with project managers; reviewing travel reimbursements of project staff; board meeting preparations and secretary duties; assisting project managers with practical arrangements; reporting, documentation and archiving. In addition, secretary tasks, e.g. handling financial monitoring and reporting; drafting and recording memoranda; processing and posting invoices; assisting with year-end tasks; collaboration with outsourced financial and payroll administration; and general administration tasks related to documents (Dynasty) and, according to your strengths, communications support. The job description can be adjusted according to the strengths of the selected person, with initial emphasis on financial administration for projects. A supportive and complementary pairing with an administrative secretary will be formed, and a multi‑site team supports you across the region. We value experience in the municipal sector and Dynasty 10 document management system, as well as project activities and management. The nature of the work and the dispersed operating model across five municipalities require proficient Microsoft 365 capability, a driving licence and access to a car. The employment is full‑time, but part‑time (at least 80%) is possible. It is a fixed‑term contract for two years, starting by agreement but no later than the end of 2026. There is a six‑month probation period. Salary and terms follow the municipal collective agreement and Kaustisen seutukunta practices; salary is affected by education, experience and the task’s complexity.
