Vihdin municipality’s planning unit seeks a seasoned land planner for a permanent position, primarily focused on comprehensive planning. We are starting updates to Vihti’s strategic general plan, with the Nummela district plan currently in draft form. The role includes contributing to municipal-level studies and analyses, and depending on interest, participating in the preparation of zoning plans. You will have room to contribute ideas and shape projects based on your background and interests, with an emphasis on strong communication skills. The successful candidate should be proficient in planning processes and have delivered a variety of projects. A suitable university degree or broad experience in planning tasks is required. Experience in the municipal sector is a plus. In a more demanding planning role, at least five years of experience in general plan drafting is expected. In addition to Finnish language proficiency, you should be proactive, digitally competent, and collaborative. Knowledge of GIS tools is an advantage; we use Trimble Locus Cloud and QGIS. The municipality supports staff well-being with E-pass and offers training opportunities, flexible working hours, and flexible remote work possibilities. The salary for the position is 4273.01 EUR per month, with potential extra pay based on work experience. A six-month probation period applies. The application period runs until 30 September at 16:00.
