Your tasks: We are seeking a social worker for Raisio’s Soihtu team to work with families with children. Soihtu teams are responsible for guidance, counselling and service-needs assessments under the Social Welfare Act. Teams serve families with children and adults under 65. As a social worker you are responsible for assessing the urgency of child protection notifications and contacts under the Social Welfare Act and for processing them. You also conduct service-needs assessments together with a social counsellor. In your work you meet families in various life situations and you can influence that clients find the help they need as early as possible. Your workstation is Raisio, and client work is carried out in child-family services in Raisio, Rusko, Naantali, Masku, Mynämäki and Nousiainen. You will have support from a skilled team, a supervisor, internal consultative and development teams and regular supervision. A team car is available to help with home visits. There is room for remote work by agreement. You can also plan your working hours flexibly within flextime. What we expect from you: We expect a client-oriented, reflective and evaluative working approach and good teamwork and collaboration skills. In addition we require good Finnish oral and written skills. Other language skills are an asset. The eligibility requirement is the eligibility for social workers as set out in the Social Welfare Act (817/2015).
