Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of technical content experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates depth in data engineering, cloud infrastructure, or adjacent fields
- Demonstrated ability to write for Databricks and Snowflake practitioners: data engineers, analytics engineers, platform engineers, or FinOps specialists
- Hands-on familiarity with Databricks and Snowflake: you understand the platform well enough to write about cluster configuration, job compute, and cost levers without relying solely on documentation
- Ebook and long-form guide experience: not just word count, but structure, pacing, and making dense material readable without dumbing it down
- Comfort operating at senior level: you drive workstreams, set your own research agenda, and flag accuracy issues proactively
- Strong editorial judgment: you know when a draft needs another pass and when it's ready
