Are you engaged by pop culture and can spot trends before they become talk of the town? We are seeking a journalist who follows the pop culture landscape with curiosity, understands its phenomena, and can craft smart, inventive journalism that resonates with a broad audience. You will cover both daily culture news and interesting pop culture talk points. You are a versatile digital journalist with strong expertise in fashion and/or pop music, TV and film. You know what attracts younger audiences, where discussions originate, and which topics are starting to surface. You have a broad personal network in the cultural field. As a writer you are skilled, bold, and authentic. You master both fast-breaking news and deeper analytical pieces and can find fresh angles to topics. In addition to writing you naturally utilize other storytelling forms: you can be in front of the camera, participate in live broadcasts, and speak into a podcast microphone.
