Special Education Teacher (Early Childhood)

As a special education teacher in early childhood education, you will be an expert in support within early childhood education for two sites. Together with the head of the day care centers you will guide the units in planning, development and evaluation of children’s support processes and how the support is directed to the group of children. You will collaborate closely with the head of the day care centers, teachers in early childhood education and in various multiprofessional teams. We expect you to have good abilities to consult and coach staff and guardians and to teach in the groups according to the children’s needs. Co-learning part-time or from time to time is in focus in your work. You are part of the unit’s management team and support the unit in developing an inclusive operational culture. We offer you a positive work community that courageously develops and tests new ways of working, with the wellbeing and participation of both children and adults at the core. The day care center Håkansböle consists of two groups at Galoppbrinken 5, 01200 Vanda. Västersundom preschool consists of one group at Hetbackavägen 3, 01200 Vanda and Trollebo day care center consists of three groups at Vidjegränden 2, 01360 Vanda. We closely collaborate with Västersundoms school to promote children’s safe transitions and lifelong learning. In the future the plan is to move to entirely new premises at Hästhagsvägen 17, 01200 Vanda to the day care center Silva. The timetable is to begin the 2027-2028 school year in the day care center which will consist of 4 Swedish-speaking and 6 Finnish-speaking groups under the same roof.
