Accounting & Finance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced accounting and financial administration professional for a long-term role in Turku, starting quickly. The position involves taking responsibility for a range of financial tasks, contributing to the development of the company’s financial processes, and working closely with both domestic and international stakeholders as part of a finance team. Responsibilities include bookkeeping and regulatory reporting, monthly reporting and closing, cash management and payments, bank and account reconciliations and accruals, payroll reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, intra-group invoicing and reconciliation of intercompany balances, travel and expense processing, supporting accounts payable and acting as a backup for other finance team tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will have several years of autonomous bookkeeping experience and the ability to take ownership of tasks. Additional requirements include relevant education (e.g., a business degree such as a bachelor’s), strong bookkeeping and Finnish VAT knowledge, experience with ERP systems, fluent Finnish and English written and spoken, good collaboration and communication skills, and a precise, organized, proactive work style. Advantageous: experience with financial statements, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Bezala and Dooap systems, and a desire to develop financial processes. The role is based in a hybrid setup with three days in the office and two days remote per week, flexible in practice. Salary is competitive and there is potential for long-term growth in the client company; initially, the contract is a 6-month temporary staffing arrangement with Manpower, with a goal to move to a permanent role.
