Construction Supervisor

We are seeking a motivated and responsible foreman for Kahva Oy on a permanent contract. In this role you will be a key link ensuring smooth progression of construction sites and success. You will serve as an important link between sites, customers, installers, drivers, and the company’s management. You will ensure that work progresses as planned, schedules are met, and information flows efficiently among all parties. You have the ability to organize, lead people and resolve situations pragmatically. Previous supervisory experience is an asset, but above all we value the right attitude, initiative and willingness to develop in the role. What is the job? Daily management and coordination of sites; planning, organizing and scheduling work; directing workers, installers and drivers; delegating tasks and efficient resource management; collaborating with customers and other stakeholders; tracking project progress and reporting; ensuring communication between sites and the company; where needed, participating in practical tasks on site. Your tasks naturally evolve with the progress of the construction project and site. Your skills and interests influence what you will do. You will work as part of a team of professionals from building helpers to cleaning staff. Although there is a large team around you, your work is independent and requires initiative and problem-solving ability. What we expect from you? Flexible, responsible and solution-focused approach; good communication and collaboration skills; ability to make decisions and push things forward; Finnish and English language skills; B-driving license and ability to use your own car; knowledge of tools and working methods; experience from construction sites and project management is an asset. You do not need to be an experienced supervisor. The most important thing is the desire to learn, to develop and to take responsibility.
