Early Childhood Education Teacher

This vacancy is for a temporary position at Illenpihan unit in Vantaa, in the Education and Learning department. The successful applicant will work as a teacher in early childhood education, supporting sensitive and safe daily routines where the child is at the center of activity. The role involves reading the needs of children and the team and being prepared to use different operating models. The team consists of enthusiastic and committed colleagues, and the unit operates with two teachers and one child caretaker; the position may become permanent later. The unit belongs to the Illenpihan early childhood unit together with Illenpuisto daycare. The employer culture is development-minded, active and positive. ProVaka is used as the operating model to support children’s social skills; you will work according to its principles with the rest of the staff. Required: strong written and spoken Finnish.
