Carpentry Supervisor

Foreman position at Juspek Oy. Juspek Oy seeks an experienced and proactive foreman for the Helsinki area. Our operations focus on repair and renovation work for apartments, properties and business spaces. The clients include large property owners and real estate operators. As foreman you are responsible for the smooth progression of your own sites from job reception to completion and invoicing. The work is practical and requires the ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously. Your duties include: site planning, scheduling and supervision; guiding employees and subcontractors; tender and cost calculation; purchasing materials and supplies; communication with customers, residents and partners; documentation and monitoring of work; control of site quality, schedule and costs. We require previous experience in construction supervision. Foreman experience is mandatory and bidding experience should be well in hand. Experience with renovation of rental properties is an asset. We especially value experience in environments where multiple small and medium repair projects are handled at once. In addition we expect: practical knowledge of construction; independent and systematic work approach; good problem-solving ability; fluent customer service and cooperation skills; basic IT skills and ability to adopt the systems in use; driving license; good spoken and written Finnish. We are seeking primarily a doer who takes responsibility for their sites and carries things through to completion. Our foreman job is not only about visiting the worksite, but managing the whole process from bidding to implementation and handing over the finished work.
