Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a technically oriented and practical maintenance technician for a permanent position in North Satakunta. The role involves ensuring the reliability of production environment machines and equipment. It is independent work where you can see the tangible results of your handiwork: well-functioning maintenance keeps production moving and prevents unnecessary downtime. Tasks also include unloading loads and moving materials and supplies with a forklift or reach truck. Your daily duties include preventive maintenance of production machines, diagnosing faults, and repairs. Tasks vary by situation, so work remains varied. You will work on: servicing and repairing production machines and equipment; performing various metalwork and repair tasks; working with hydraulics and compressed air systems; replacing worn components such as bearings, belts and electric motors; participating in preventive maintenance and keeping machines in good condition; workdays vary and you will encounter situations where you must use your own judgment to find a working solution. We expect hands-on attitude, technical understanding, and willingness to tackle tasks to get things running. For success: machine or metal sector education; previous experience in industrial maintenance; knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics; experience operating heavy machinery or forklift; electrical knowledge. The most important is the right attitude and eagerness to learn. You will receive thorough onboarding, so not everything needs to be mastered from day one.
