Are you interested in a leadership role where you can influence residents’ daily life, staff wellbeing, and the development of a care facility? We are seeking a Service Home Director for Saga Helapuisto. The Helsinki‑based facility offers 92 apartments and a 12‑bed group home, with shared spaces including a library, hair salon, gym, restaurant, café, sauna and pool. As Director you will oversee the operation, staff, and results, ensuring residents receive high quality services and staff have good conditions to succeed. The role combines people leadership, operational development and business responsibility. You will lead staff, develop operations with experts, and ensure goal‑oriented and profitable performance, including handling apartment rents, raising awareness of services, and maintaining high occupancy. You will be actively involved in daily life at the facility and collaborate with staff, residents, relatives, authorities and partners. You should be able to motivate staff, foster a good workplace culture and create conditions for excellent resident experiences. You will be part of Saga’s extended management team and report to the business director. The position is permanent and daytime work. We can agree on start date. What we expect: a development‑oriented working style, ability to identify new possibilities to improve services and operations, a people‑oriented and inclusive leadership style, ability to align staff with common goals and cultivate an open, supportive and collaborative atmosphere. You should have experience in people management, supervisory work and quality development. A business‑minded approach and a track record of developing service operations and sales are a plus. A suitable educational background is a higher education degree in social/health care or, for example, from a commercial field. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract.
