Mechanical Fitter

Our client company carries out varied metalworking, combining the manufacture of new parts, refurbishment of old parts and mechanical work. In this role, you will work hands-on, use different machines and measuring tools, and develop your skills in varied workshop tasks. We are now looking for another person for them to work in mechanical assembly and metalworking in Eura, under the title Mechanical Fitter. DUTIES The work involves manufacturing and refurbishing various rollers. You will make new parts and maintain and refurbish old ones. The varied role includes mechanical work, measuring and operating machines as needed. You will read mechanical drawings and use various measuring tools, such as micrometers. Welding skills are also useful. Experience using a manual lathe is a significant advantage, and in the future the work may also include learning to use a balancing machine. WHAT WE EXPECT We are looking for a hands-on person with a background in metalworking and an interest in varied workshop tasks. You should be familiar with reading mechanical drawings and using different measuring tools so that you can work accurately and independently. Welding skills are considered an advantage, and experience using a manual lathe is particularly welcome. Above all, a practical approach, care and a willingness to learn new work stages are important. WHAT WE OFFER We offer a long-term employment relationship in varied metalworking tasks. The work is on the day shift. Pay is €14–18 per hour, depending on skills and previous experience. Work begins as soon as a suitable person is found. INTERESTED?
