About the role

We are seeking a like-minded, development-minded early childhood education teacher with strong interaction skills to join Ylästön päiväkoti in Vantaa for a permanent contract starting as agreed. You will work in the preschool group and be supported by a team including another early childhood education teacher, a daycare assistant and a helper. Ylästön päiväkoti is a six-group daycare located near Ylästö School with spacious facilities and close-to-nature surroundings including local parks, woods and riverside nature. We regularly leverage nearby opportunities in our activities. Our focus is on social skills, emotional competence and child participation, and meeting children and families in a calm, respectful manner. The unit operates under a joint leadership model with one principal focusing on staff and the other on pedagogy.
