Campuskoti Merihelmi offers you the opportunity to join a multidisciplinary work community and to guide future professionals in the field. You will work as a nurse at Campuskoti Merihelmi, a 30-bed unit providing round-the-clock assisted living in Salo. As a nurse you act as an expert in nursing care and are responsible for the residents’ comprehensive care. The core of the work includes medication administration and nursing care, assessment of functional capacity and care needs, drafting and implementing care plans, and collaboration with doctors and the team. You will primarily work on weekdays morning shifts and will receive thorough orientation to your tasks. In the group home, there is a supervisor, nurses, practical nurses, and care assistants. We collaborate with Turku University of Applied Sciences, and our unit has students you will supervise. We offer meaningful work among the elderly, a competent team, opportunities to develop your own skills, and a pleasant working environment. We expect you to have good Finnish language skills, motivation to develop in nursing, self-direction, responsibility, teamwork, pupil-friendly attitude, and a resident-centered approach. A valid LOVe drug prescription is an advantage but can be completed through us when your employment begins.
