Are you an experienced field professional in building automation who wants to dive deeper into challenging project deployments? We are looking for a Deployment Specialist to ensure that designed automation solutions work in practice. The role involves working on technically demanding building automation projects with our experienced team, contributing to large-scale ventures (e.g., data centers) where successful deployment is critical to the overall operation. You will interpret plans, assess feasibility, participate in commissioning tests, and monitor that systems and equipment operate correctly. You will be responsible for creating the required documentation and ensuring the deployment process progresses according to agreed requirements and schedules. You will work closely with system engineers, automation installers, and other project members. The candidate should have an engineering degree (engineering/DI level) in automation, electrical or other suitable technical field and practical experience in building automation projects. We especially value field experience with commissioning of building automation and project delivery. You will read and interpret technical drawings and assess whether the planned solution works in practice; you will identify potential issues and proactively resolve them. You will communicate daily with other project members and bring your technical perspective to discussions, also in challenging situations. Projects are often conducted in English, so fluent English is required; the internal working language at JIS is Finnish.
