We are seeking active and motivated firefighting professionals to join Keski-Uudenmaan pelastuslaitos as firefighters. The role offers varied tasks across a broad operations field. Depending on interest you can work in basic emergency medical care or specialize as a water rescue diver, forklift operator, incident unit operator, or rope rescue technician. You will be part of a professional firefighting community with diverse and meaningful duties. Our work environment is communal and our level of expertise is high. We provide regular training and opportunities to develop skills. The position is permanent with a six-month trial period. Qualifications include registration for active duty, a valid BC class driver’s license, vaccination protection according to the Infectious Diseases Act, and physical fitness including Firefit indices. A valid under-one-year Firefit test or equivalent WWC test may substitute. Additional training is read as an advantage. Selection may favor prior firefighting experience, additional training in water diving, PVAT, or elevating platform qualifications, and knowledge of the Keski-Uudenmaan region. Interviews are planned at Pelastuslaitos facilities in September 2026. See more on our website.
