About the role

Factory Supervisor at Kittilä factory. We are seeking a factory supervisor for our Kittilä plant for a permanent position. Do you want diverse work that combines practical tasks, quality control and safety? Do you want to be the person who ensures the factory runs smoothly from day to day? As a factory supervisor you are the daily operator of the plant; you ensure production runs safely, with quality and efficiently. Your responsibilities include ensuring our customers receive orders that meet requirements and deadlines. Your duties include: Production and quality control; daily operation and smooth production at the betonitehdas; betonin valmistus betoniasemanhoitajana; operational quality control and ensuring conformity of products; recording quality data into the system; Maintenance and safety; condition monitoring of machines and maintenance records; taking care of maintenance and repair actions; plant safety, cleanliness, order and general condition and reporting and keeping records up to date; Administration and development; reporting, inventory tracking and inventory; continuous improvement of plant operation; other plant operational tasks. What does success look like in the role? In the first 6 months you have integrated into the team, understood internal and external stakeholders, understood basic requirements, learned systems and how to find information; can operate the concrete plant independently and ensure maintenance is performed on time. By the end of the first year you have mastered daily operations, learned to anticipate major repair needs, performed maintenance and parts replacement, and contributed to safe working practices and plant development. We look for practical and responsible person who takes full responsibility for daily plant operations, has motivation to learn and grow, and can make decisions independently. An independent work style is important; accuracy and safety are core traits. Experience in concrete industry or similar production environment is appreciated.
