The Fintech Commercial team is the glue between external Fintech partners (schemes, PSPs, issuers) and Agoda’s Finance department. We represent the business side of Agoda’s Pay-in (Consumer Payments) and Pay-out (Business payments) pillars within the Agoda Fintech ecosystem. Together with our Fintech partners and cross-functional stakeholders, we identify and implement payments optimization initiatives, launch new payment methods and drive Fintech innovation across Agoda. The Opportunity: We are looking for a talented, results-oriented Payments Operations Analyst to join the Agoda finance team. You will: Analyze payment partner commercials Validate strategic deals and own invoice reconciliation Run financial analysis and data-driven insights Drive business case development for new fintech initiatives This is an ideal role for someone with 2–4 years’ experience in Finance, Fintech/Tech, or Consulting industries, who wants exposure to payments partner management at scale. Successful candidates tend to have strong analytical and data skills and are self-starters who are comfortable working in environments defined by volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity. In addition, good performers in this role are organized, possess effective interpersonal skills and can successfully partner with cross functional teams in a result-oriented manner. In this Role, you’ll get to own: Commercial Operations & Controls Perform monthly reconciliation of fintech partner commercials (PSPs, Payment schemes, etc.) on a timely basis Validate partner invoices against contractual terms and transaction-level data Ensure reconciliation data pipelines remain accurate and complete by coordinating with BI and external partners Be the trusted owner of reconciliation controls, maintaining clear documentation and partnering with stakeholders to ensure smooth audit walkthroughs each cycle Maintain documentation trails and process controls in accordance with Finance governance What You’ll Need to Succeed: Required Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field Minimum 2 years of experience in: Consulting (Big4 preferred), Corporate Finance, Fintech / Payments, Commercial Finance or Deal Analytics Advanced Excel skills: financial modeling proficiency required Analytical mindset with strong quantitative skills Detail-oriented with strong internal control awareness Good written and verbal communication skills in English Preferred Experience in payment ecosystem (PSPs, Payment schemes, etc.) Exposure to SQL or data querying tools Experience building structured business cases for senior stakeholders Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced environment Knowledge of OTA business models (Merchant, Agency, Commission-based etc.) Please review our Hiring Process Guidelines before your interview — click here to learn how interviewing at Agoda works.
