Continual Improvement Intern

Job Description Summary: The internship will take place at the La Prairie industrial site for production, R&D and project engineering that is part of the HVS (High Voltage Switchgear) product line, offering equipment for energising and de-energising portions of an electrical grid such as switchgear. Job Description: Roles and responsibilities: Participate in manufacturing animation and production management activities, as well as continuous improvement projects. Monitor and improve production performance indicators. Support team leaders in daily activities. Improve/reconfigure workstations (5S, value-stream analyses, Kaizen projects, etc.). Create/modify Operational Instructions. Solve industrial problems and track projects. Skills required: Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of VBA, AutoCAD (2D), Crep/Catia (3D) (an asset); French/English spoken and written; knowledge of Lean (an asset); spirit of innovation; autonomy. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in progress (Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering).
