Would you like to be the person who keeps clients’ properties in good condition, costs under control and maintenance partners on track? Join Granlund’s Tampere office as a technical property management professional, working with our clients’ properties in Pirkanmaa and Satakunta. We are looking for an experienced Technical Property Manager to join us and ensure that what we promise is delivered at clients’ properties every day. Property owners increasingly need an expert representing their interests to keep maintenance, repairs and costs under control. At Granlund, technical property management is a growing service: we act as the client’s technical representative, guide maintenance partners, prepare long-term maintenance plans and budgets, tender services and report. Our clients include industrial companies, retail operators, property investors and public organisations. We have unique expertise, a broad service offering and a strong foundation for growth. You will be supported by an encouraging manager, our professionals and our brand. Community and openness at our Tampere office are built on a low hierarchy. A sense of humour and professional ambition come together in results that are better than average; even demanding projects are handled with expertise and a positive attitude. Our office is in central Tampere. Your role in more detail You will lead, supervise and develop the maintenance of your clients’ properties as the owner’s representative. You will guide maintenance, cleaning and other service partners, monitor contract delivery and ensure that properties are safe, reliable and support clients’ business operations—production and everyday activities—without interruptions. Your strong building-services expertise will be evident in your daily work: you will provide practical support to property maintenance. When systems do not work or there are problems with conditions, you will help maintenance teams investigate faults, manage settings and conditions, and define the right repairs. The goal is to prevent the same fault from recurring. Your work will include preparing and monitoring long-term maintenance plans and maintenance budgets, tendering services, and initiating and coordinating repair and investment projects together with our experts. You will also report regularly to clients. Property information, service requests and maintenance monitoring are handled in a property information system—either our own or the one used by the client. You will work alongside clients. You will regularly visit sites and attend client steering groups, get to know the properties and their users, and identify areas for improvement. You will also recognise broader needs, such as a condition assessment, energy efficiency, indoor air quality or a future investment, and bring in the right experts. Together with sales, you will be responsible for growing client relationships: the best sales work is earning the client’s trust. Your role may also include construction management and supervision for clients’ repair and investment projects. This allows the same person who knows the property and its maintenance to guide the project from start to finish. At first, you will learn about our clients, sites and operating model alongside experienced colleagues. After that, you will take responsibility for your own client portfolio and help shape how we develop and package technical property management. How we believe we can make your working life better We are a profitable, growing Finnish company where people enjoy working. We offer a permanent position in a top team, with plenty of career opportunities as your expertise develops. More than 200 consulting professionals will support you, from building-services design and construction management to condition assessments, energy and indoor air quality. You will not be left on your own in this role or at Granlund. You will have the opportunity to broaden your expertise in construction management and supervision alongside Granlund’s experienced construction managers. You can expect plenty of freedom and responsibility. We do not micromanage or seek approval from committees: decisions are made where they have an impact. You can do your work to the best of your ability. We do not cut corners or do things half-heartedly. At the same time, you will work with people who help and care. We are united by a desire to move forward. If, like us, you enjoy finding new solutions, aim for excellent results and want to enjoy the journey, we believe there is no other workplace quite like ours. In addition, we offer very competitive employee benefits. They support everyday life and have been chosen based on what our employees themselves want. About your salary: the salary level for this role is €4,300–€5,000 per month. Your experience, previous results in similar roles and how well your potential matches what we are looking for will affect your salary level. Could you be the professional we are looking for? You must have at least a bachelor-level degree from a university of applied sciences in property management or a technical field, preferably building services engineering. You also have several years of experience in property management, technical property management, property manager or building manager roles, or other maintenance management. To succeed in the role, you need experience leading maintenance operations and service-provider networks, managing maintenance contracts, and strong building-services expertise—how HVAC, electrical and automation systems work, fault diagnosis and management of indoor conditions—as well as an understanding of building technology, long-term maintenance planning and maintenance budgeting. Experience coordinating or managing repair and investment projects, or expertise in construction management and supervision, is an advantage. Knowledge of the specific features of commercial and industrial environments, safety matters and risk management is also an advantage. You have good IT skills and experience with property information systems. You are proactive and solution-oriented, and responsibility motivates you. You lead service providers purposefully and, when needed, firmly, while building trusting relationships with clients, users and partners. You quickly identify what matters, set priorities accordingly, are willing to express your views and enjoy work where operational day-to-day tasks and long-term development go hand in hand. Most importantly, you are pleasant to work with. In addition to fluent Finnish, you need spoken and written English skills, and you must have a category B driving licence. How does this sound? Would you join us as a colleague? Apply for this role and join our team by sending your application and CV no later than 16 November 2026. We review applications and meet interesting candidates during the application period, so do not wait until the last moment. We are ready to make hiring decisions quickly, even during the application period. If you have questions about the role, its objectives or working at Granlund, Priit will be happy to answer them. You can reach Business Director Priit Nukka by phone or email. For questions about the recruitment process, you can contact Riitta-Liisa.
