About the role

In Kurjenmäkikoti 2 you collaborate widely with various actors, such as oSKE coordinators, own nurses, other staff and external actors. As part of the client plan you map client needs and wishes and participate in the statistics, documentation, and in drafting and updating culture- and wellbeing plans. You also assist clients in daily activities. You work as part of a broad multidisciplinary collaboration in elderly services, cooperating with staff and other stakeholders. You act as a point of contact for performers and volunteers, participate in organizing events and are responsible for communication related to these. oSKE activities are goal-oriented, inclusive and planned group activities that support interaction and mutual relationships. Activities may include e.g. exercise, games or music and are organised five days a week in both indoor and outdoor spaces. Planning considers themed days and holidays, and volunteers are welcome to join in the implementation. What we expect from you: you have excellent communication and collaboration skills and the ability to guide different client groups and adapt activities to their needs. You know methods that support the functional ability of older people and actively develop your competence, including adopting new methods. You can work independently and are committed to implementing and developing oSKE activities. The job requires good stress tolerance and strong Finnish language skills. Guidance may also occur in other units. Computer skills are considered a merit. Eligibility requires a basic degree in social and health care or other suitable education.
