Finance Business Developer

We are looking for a Business Developer for the Market Trade Finance unit for a permanent position. Our workplace is our Helsinki office, Ässäkeskus, where we meet colleagues several times a week. When work duties allow, you can also work remotely flexibly for part of the week. What is the role about? As a Business Developer, you will work in a multidisciplinary team developing financial reporting, analytics, process analytics, automation and AI capabilities. The aim is to improve operational decision-making, ensure the accuracy of finance processes and data, and make operations more efficient through technology. Compared with the other members of the team, your role particularly emphasizes deep expertise in finance and accounting processes. You therefore have a track record of working in responsible finance roles. You will own the business development, continuity and future competitiveness of an assigned finance process or service area. You will set and advance OKR targets and ensure together with the team that the work produces measurable customer and business value. You will work closely with technology, analytics and data professionals, the finance operations organization and business units. You will coordinate the needs of different stakeholders and solve situations that require combining finance, accounting, technology, data and customer insight. What kind of professional are we looking for? We hope you have: - A relevant master’s degree (e.g. MSc in Economics and Business Administration). - At least five years of experience in customer-oriented business development, with analytics and technology playing a central role. - Experience working with AI automation solutions. - Broad knowledge of finance processes and principles, as well as deep accounting expertise. - Strong product-management skills and experience in demanding business and technology development in a multidisciplinary team. - The ability to use data, analytics, automation and AI solutions in decision-making. - Experience with agile development methods. - Fluent Finnish and English. You will succeed in the role by building cooperation based on trust, open interaction and transparent decision-making.
