A personal assistant role at Onni’s Assistive Services invites you to join a team delivering important, customer‑driven work for clients who need help with daily tasks due to illness or disability, on a permanent contract. As a personal assistant you help clients live their own lives to the fullest, assist with household chores and activities outside the home. Assignments vary; duties are set according to the client’s condition and individual support needs. The work is varied and may involve several different clients and tasks in the same day. No sector-specific training or prior experience is required; a correct attitude toward care work, a willingness to learn, and a customer‑oriented approach in diverse situations is enough. All new assistants will receive thorough onboarding in Onni’s Assistants Academy before starting, and onboarding continues as needed during employment. You will receive ongoing guidance and support from your team supervisor so you never face questions or work challenges alone. Work is generally performed in two shifts on weekdays and weekends; shift lengths range from two hours upward, and a day may consist of one or more clients. You can influence your shifts and work part‑time or on a gig basis in a manner that suits your life situation. We consider the needs of both clients and assistants to align schedules as well as possible. The first shift for a client is a potential onboarding shift, after which both assistant and client can evaluate cooperation and compatibility. If later you feel something isn’t right or doesn’t work as planned, we will discuss and find a suitable solution together. If you wish, you can work for several clients with Onni by coordinating schedules. Requirements include B2 Finnish language skills, a driving license and access to a car, and being of legal age. We offer comprehensive onboarding and the possibility to develop professionally, a cheerful and professional team to share daily life with, Tradeka corporate employee benefits, and Tradeka health fund membership after a probationary period if the working hours meet the contract requirement of at least 10 h/week and the contract duration is at least 6 months. The application deadline is 23.08.2026. We will interview applicants during the application period and arrange a flexible start. Those selected for the role must present a police background check in accordance with the Social Welfare and Health Care Supervisory Act from 1.1.2025 onwards.
