Tax Expert

Would you like to help build the future of healthcare taxation? We are now seeking a skilled and motivated tax expert (Tax Controller/Tax Advisor) to join our team at Terveystalo, Finland's largest private healthcare service provider. The role involves working comprehensively with various tax types, developing expertise in a fast-evolving healthcare sector, and contributing to the development of tax processes at the group level. You will primarily handle income taxation tasks, including preparing corporate income tax returns for subsidiary entities, tax calculations, depreciation calculations, and related development work. You may participate in corporate reorganisations, so experience with M&A tax is a plus. You will also engage in tax reporting and development of related processes, including global minimum taxation, CbCR and PCbCR reporting, and transfer pricing documentation and maintenance. You will coordinate tax processes related to financial statements and implement tax changes within the group. The role requires acting as a tax specialist across multiple tax types, including VAT, prepayment tax, transfer tax, and international taxation, and supporting business operations. You will work with a broad network of internal stakeholders and report to the tax team lead (Tax Director, Irina Lindberg). The position is full-time and permanent with a hybrid work model; we meet the team at the Helsinki Kamppi office about half of the time. Start date is October or earlier if possible.
