Internships

Harjoittelupaikka: Norlandia Koirapäiväkodit offer internships for students to develop skills in dog welfare, behavior, and the daily tasks of animal care. Internships are available at Helsinki (Malminkartano), Tuusula, and Oulu (Toppilansalmi). The intern participates with a supervisor in all dog daycare duties. Possible tasks include observing group situations and participating in guidance, observing dog behavior, outdoor activities and daily care, maintaining daycare cleanliness and surroundings, and following customer-facing daily operations. The intern works under supervision and is expected to participate actively, take initiative, and learn. The internship may involve collaboration with children and the elderly services. Applications are open to students studying animal care or related fields, through institutions, Kela, or TE services, and with a clear learning objective. The internship lasts at least 3 weeks, unpaid, with a designated supervisor, and requires adherence to Norlandia values.
