Personal assistance involves helping with tasks at home or outside the home that the individual cannot perform due to illness or disability. Assistance may include support in hobbies or studies, household chores, or enabling participation in leisure activities. Sometimes, the main role of the assistant is to be a conversation partner and companion: a relaxed person for the client. The role of a personal assistant is significant in supporting the client’s daily life, aiming to enable long-term independent living at home and to promote active and meaningful daily routines, respecting the client’s autonomy. This job suits you if you seek variety and flexibility, as work is tailored to the client’s needs and wishes. You will also have the opportunity to influence your shifts in agreement with the client. We require you to have vaccination protection according to the Communicable Diseases Act §48 and tuberculosis screening according to §55.
