As a personal assistant, you will be part of our clients' valuable stories. At Validia, personal assistance clients are individuals covered by disability services. Personal assistance involves helping with tasks at home or outside the home that the individual cannot perform due to illness or disability. Assistance may include support in hobbies or studies, household chores, or enabling participation in leisure activities. Sometimes, the main role of the assistant is to be a conversation partner and companion: a relaxed person for the client. The role of a personal assistant is significant in supporting the client’s daily life, aiming to enable long-term independent living at home and to promote active and meaningful daily routines, respecting the client’s autonomy. This job suits you if you seek variety and flexibility, as work is tailored to the client’s needs and wishes. You will also have the opportunity to influence your shifts in agreement with the client. You work independently and commit to agreed practices. An open attitude and your personality go a long way! We offer you salary according to the collective agreement: Private Social Services Sector TES, pay grade G15A, flexible working hours, opportunity to familiarize yourself with disability work and the care sector, orientation tailored to your skills, support from a professional and humor-filled work community, and the possibility to pursue further studies and find employment in other social and health care roles. We hope from you genuine interest in assistance work, positive and cheerful attitude, willingness to learn and develop in your work, and sufficient Finnish language skills; other language skills are an advantage. We require you to have vaccination protection according to the Communicable Diseases Act §48 and tuberculosis screening according to §55.
