Practical nurse

Role: You work at Parainen Senior House, which consists of three home groups and serves a total of 12 residents. You support the residents’ daily wellbeing, guide their daily life and consider their individual needs in accordance with agreed plans, respecting the person. Your duties include administering medications and providing health care in accordance with doctors’ orders and the unit’s medication plan. You ensure that service plans stay up to date together with residents and their families, and participate in planning, implementing and monitoring other plans. You collaborate actively with relatives, the work community and the clients’ broader networks. You are responsible for your own professional conduct, smooth cooperation and good interaction. You maintain and develop your competence through further trainings. You work independently but in proximity to other care staff. A large part of the work is basic care. Orientation and necessary further training are arranged by the employer. The working language is Swedish. The job is on a three-shift schedule.
