System Installer

The role is to work in the security technology maintenance team within the security technology business unit. The main working area will be in Rovaniemi and Northern Finland. Full-time, permanent position. You will perform versatile security technology maintenance, installation and fault-fixing tasks. You will be an important part of ensuring the operability of customers’ protection systems. You report to the maintenance supervisor. Key duties include performing defined annual maintenance according to schedule, fault repairs, various modification and improvement works to security systems, installation tasks as directed by the supervisor, and reporting completed work to the supervisor. Requirements include a clean background and the ability to obtain a security clearance; strong teamwork with the ability to work independently in the field; good customer service skills and the ability to interact with diverse personalities; knowledge for fault finding; ability to communicate solutions to customers as needed; familiarity with maintenance operations and the challenges associated with them; at least 1 year of experience in camera surveillance, access control or burglary protection system installation, maintenance or commissioning work; an security check will be conducted for those selected for installer or specialist tasks. Suitable basic education such as electrical, electronics or ICT field degree; security training is an advantage. Proficiency in Finnish and English (spoken and written), Swedish is an advantage. Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of measuring instruments and IT/comms networks. A B-class driving license is required.
