IFRS Reporting Expert

We are seeking a lead IFRS accounting expert to strengthen our IFRS supervision. In this role you will influence investor information in Finland and Europe, and you will act as a change driver from being a reviewer to a supervisor. The position is demanding expert work where you can leverage your deep IFRS expertise. You will gain a unique view into listed companies’ financial reporting and contribute to investor protection, strengthening the functioning of capital markets and trust in financial markets. You will supervise financial reporting of listed companies primarily from the IFRS accounting perspective. In challenging IFRS application questions you will structure complex entities and justify your views in a regulatory context. You will develop IFRS supervision together with colleagues at home and in Europe in a changing operating environment. You will be expected to have over 10 years of experience in external IFRS reporting for listed companies, with a background in corporate reporting or an audit firm. In addition to IFRS 15, IFRS 16 and IFRS 13, you will master the IFRS standards and methods used in their application. You will communicate fluently in Finnish and English, both written and spoken. You hold a suitable advanced university degree and have good and up-to-date digital skills. We also value experience in other areas of financial reporting, such as national accounting regulation. Success requires a goal-oriented, solution-focused approach and the ability to base views on regulatory grounds.
