About the role

Itä-Uudenmaan hyvinvointialue is seeking a Recruitment Specialist for a fixed-term project (Sept 1, 2026 – Dec 31, 2027) within the area’s personnel services. The role is tied to the JATKUMO project, aimed at strengthening continuity of care, improving service effectiveness and accessibility, and developing evidence-based management practices in primary health care. Responsibilities include supporting nurse and doctor recruitment in health station services during the project, planning and executing project recruitments, and developing a long-term nurse and doctor recruitment plan along with orientation structures. The Recruitment Specialist will work closely with the welfare area’s HR services and recruitment team, supporting managers in various stages of the recruitment process with expert guidance and counseling. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and experience leveraging social media for recruitment are required. The position is based in Porvoo city centre with good transport links; remote work is possible. Health services are provided by Mehiläinen. Required is a suitable university or polytechnic degree. Proficiency in one domestic language (Finnish or Swedish) and good written and spoken skills in the other domestic language are required. Prior public sector recruitment experience is advantageous. The role requires experience in demanding health care recruitment within current physician and nurse labor market conditions, a track record of recruitment process development, understanding of social and health care environments, and ability to work on projects. Terms follow HYVTES; standard office hours (36.25 h/week). Monthly salary is 3727.67 EUR. probation is half of the temporary contract length. Applications close by 30 August 2026 at 23:59.
