Laboratory Facilities Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory and facilities coordinator to ensure the technical operations of a demanding laboratory and its facilities, and to provide daily operational support. The role involves maintenance of facilities information, coordinating internal moves and space changes, coordinating with service and on-call organizations, and managing gas and liquid nitrogen systems (orders, substitutions, monitoring, and user communication). It includes statutory usage-control tasks for LN2 systems, monitoring and maintaining alarms for special freezers and environmental rooms, coordinating inspections and repairs of pressure vessels, autoclaves and other equipment, receiving, moving and storing equipment and materials, and participating in minor technical installations if you have prior electrical qualifications. Daily work will be in Espoo at Tekniikankatu 21. The successful candidate will have technical education or equivalent experience, experience from a laboratory/research/production or other technical environment, strong technical understanding with safety orientation, independent, systematic and responsible work style, ability to prioritize and act in disturbances and emergencies, good collaboration and communication skills, and willingness to perform physical work.
