Assembly Supervisor

We are looking for an ASSEMBLY SUPERVISOR for electrical assembly at our client HANZA Mechanics Oulainen Oy’s Oulainen factory for a permanent employment relationship. This is a direct recruitment, meaning the selected person will be employed directly by the client company. The work is mainly daytime work, but the applicant is expected to be ready to work shifts when necessary. As supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily management of the order-to-delivery process according to agreed operating models. In your work, you will observe, report and respond to safety, productivity and quality deviations, identify waste in the production process, and guide operations to minimise it. You will act as the supervisor of production personnel and be responsible for developing employees’ competence together with the other supervisors. The role is suitable for a practical and responsible person with good cooperation and interaction skills and the ability to organise and lead daily production operations. You can make decisions and manage several areas at once, including in busy and changing situations. The applicant is expected to have: - A proactive and solution-oriented approach - The ability to develop operating processes and guide a team towards set goals - Good interaction and cooperation skills - An independent and active approach to work - Readiness to work shifts when necessary - Problem-solving skills The following are considered an advantage: - Electrical-sector expertise and previous experience in similar duties - Technical education suitable for the position, for example a university of applied sciences degree or equivalent - Knowledge of Lean or 5S methods - Use of ERP systems - Occupational safety expertise Why HANZA?
