We are seeking a Power Line Technician for the permanent Power business to join the maintenance team for power lines. Employment location is Rajamäki with a travel area primarily Häme-Uusimaa-Kymenlaakso. The job requires travel within the country. The role involves maintenance of 110-400 kV power lines. Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance work on 110-400 kV power lines
- Work at heights (15-70 m) in various weather conditions
- Follow safety procedures and work with a network of colleagues (designers and other specialists)
- Use modern tools and equipment provided by the company
- Support a safe and healthy work environment and ensure completion of tasks
- Travel as required within the country
Requirements
- Hold a valid B driver’s license (BE and/or C are an advantage)
- Technical qualification relevant to the role
- Previous experience at heights on mast and power line work is an advantage
- Basic computer skills
- Willingness to undergo medical examination for suitability to climb poles
- All technicians undergo a short safety clearance (required)
