EMMA is seeking a Sales Assistant for EMMA Shop in a permanent position. EMMA Shop is the museum shop of EMMA – Espoo’s modern art museum, operating at WeeGe Center and online. The Sales Assistant will be an important part of the customer’s museum experience, ensuring top-notch customer service, sales, and shop display. Responsibilities also include content creation for the online store and other daily tasks of the museum shop. We offer varied work in an inspiring art and design environment with a supportive team, and opportunities to develop skills and influence customer experiences. The role requires experience or education in sales and customer service, a genuine desire to meet diverse customers and create excellent service experiences, initiative, problem-solving, and a responsible work attitude, at least 18 years old, strong organization and teamwork skills, ability to anticipate and maintain smooth daily shop operations, willingness for regular evening and weekend work, fluent Finnish and English. Education in art, design or culture is an advantage, as is experience in shop display planning and implementation, content creation and online store maintenance, or other languages. The position is permanent. Shifts mainly follow EMMA Shop opening hours ( Tue–Sun 12–17, Wed–Fri 12–19, Sat–Sun 12–17 ). Pay is according to EMMA pay system: 13.32 €/h. We follow the Museology collective agreement. We also offer benefits such as lunch, sport and culture allowances. Working hours: 32 h/week. Employment starts 5 Oct 2026 or as agreed.
