About the role

Experience Coordinator The Lapland experience often begins long before the customer arrives. It starts with the first message, a well-chosen excursion, and the feeling that the customer's wishes have truly been heard. We are looking for an Experience Coordinator for Soul of Lapland to help customers find the experiences that suit them and ensure that the journey from planning to implementation proceeds smoothly. The main focus of the work is on sales, customer service, and booking coordination, but you will also participate in guiding duties for part of your working time. In this role, you do not only sell trips or process bookings. You are involved in building the customer's overall experience and ensuring that expectations, practical arrangements, and the on-site experience align. As an Experience Coordinator, you will serve international customers primarily in English. For us, sales are above all about good service, listening to the customer, and genuine interaction. In this position, it is important to be able to recommend the experience that best suits the customer's situation and build trust even before the customer arrives. Your duties include, for example: - responding to customer inquiries and processing and updating bookings - selling trips and experiences by listening to the customer's needs - checking booking information and practical arrangements - collaborating with guides, other staff, and partners - welcoming customers - participating in guiding duties for part of the working time We offer you: - a fixed-term employment contract for the Lapland winter season - a versatile job where office and guiding tasks vary - an international working environment - the opportunity to develop your sales, customer service, and guiding skills - orientation to the role and Soul of Lapland's operating methods - the opportunity to help create authentic and memorable Lapland experiences for our visitors We offer a versatile and varied role in Lapland tourism. You will be able to follow the customer's journey from the first contact to the realized experience and see concretely how your own work affects the customer experience. You will be surrounded by a relaxed but ambitious team where work is done together and everyone's contribution matters. Working days can vary: one day you serve customers and process bookings, another day you are involved in implementing an experience on-site. The main location of the work is Rovaniemi. Guiding duties and experiences are also implemented in the Lehtojärvi and Norvajärvi areas as well as the Rovaniemi surrounding areas. We hope for: - previous experience in sales and customer service - a service-oriented and sales-driven approach to work - interest in tourism and producing Lapland experiences - willingness to also perform guiding duties - fluent English language skills - good basic IT skills and willingness to adopt new systems - thoroughness and good organizational skills Salary: Salary is based on expertise and experience, 15 - 18 eur/h. In this position, we follow the collective agreement for the program services industry. The employment is fixed-term and tentatively scheduled from December to the end of March.
