Lapland Explorers is looking for energetic, reliable and customer-oriented Tour Guides to join our team in Rovaniemi for the upcoming winter season. The employment period begins either on 1 October or 1 November 2026, depending on the agreed position and operational needs. The employment period ends on 31 March 2027. The work mainly includes guiding Northern Lights tours and other Lapland experiences for international customers. We are looking for people who enjoy meeting new people, creating a positive atmosphere and delivering memorable experiences. Previous guiding experience is an advantage, but the right attitude, responsibility and willingness to learn are the most important qualities. Your responsibilities include - Guiding Northern Lights tours and other activities - Welcoming and assisting international customers - Ensuring the safety and smooth operation of tours - Sharing information and stories about Lapland, local culture and Arctic nature - Answering customer questions - Taking proper care of equipment and vehicles - Selling additional services and products - Working closely with other guides and the operational team We expect - A positive and customer-focused attitude - Good communication skills - Reliability and punctuality - The ability to work independently and as part of a team - Fluent spoken English - A valid category B driving licence - Availability for evening, night and weekend work - Willingness to work in Arctic winter conditions Considered an advantage - Additional language skills - Previous guiding experience - Photography skills - Knowledge of Lapland and Arctic conditions We offer - Varied work with international customers - Comprehensive training and clear operating procedures - Salary according to the applicable collective agreement - Salary and employment terms negotiable depending on experience and the agreed role - A performance-based bonus model that can significantly increase your total earnings - Opportunities to develop and progress into more responsible roles - A supportive work community in a growing local tourism company Further details about the salary and bonus model will be provided during the interview.
