Practical Nurse

We are seeking nine practical nurses for the Resource Pool in the areas of Kirkkonummi, Raseborg, Hanko, Inkoo, and Siuntio. As a practical nurse in the resource pool, you will substitute for other practical nurses during both planned and sudden absences. Your workday consists of client work in various operating environments, home care, and housing services. In addition to planned visits, you will participate in safety assistance visits during night shifts as needed, for which you will receive separate training. We require that you can operate independently based on the common operating models and instructions of the Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County. Agile learning of the operating systems required for the work is considered an advantage. Eligibility requirements: A person acting under the title of practical nurse is required to have the right to use a title-protected professional title suitable for the task and a valid medication administration permit or to complete it at the start of employment. The position requires fluent oral and written Finnish language skills. Swedish language skills are desirable in the western areas. A driver's license is mandatory. The position requires vaccination protection according to Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a tuberculosis certificate according to Section 55 of the Communicable Diseases Act. The person selected for the position must present a criminal record extract necessary for verifying the criminal background of a person working with elderly people in accordance with Section 28 of Act 741/2023. Those selected for employment may be randomly asked for a drug test in accordance with the Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County substance abuse program. We are agents of change.
