As Project Engineering Lead, you will lead project engineering execution from sales through delivery for new builds and modernization projects. You will define execution plans, direct multidisciplinary engineering teams, and act as the primary technical interface with the Yard, Owner, and Classification Societies. You are accountable for design quality, schedule, budget, and technical documentation, while providing technical support throughout the contract and guarantee period. You will also contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives. Your Responsibilities Project Engineering Leadership Develop engineering execution plans and scope of work for sales and project phases Lead and coordinate design and engineering teams for new builds and modernizations Report engineering progress and risks to the Project Manager Manage design quality, budget, schedule, and design subcontractor contracts Support monitoring and follow‑up of project change orders Technical Support & Documentation Oversee the production of engineering and design documentation Participate in technical meetings with the Yard, Owner, and Class Provide technical support to Sales and internal teams during contract and guarantee periods Quality & Continuous Improvement Support factory inspections and quality control activities as required Contribute to Research & Development initiatives, including new concepts and cost‑saving programs Follow and actively contribute to the Company Quality System and continuous improvement efforts Your Profile Relevant technical education or equivalent experience in shipbuilding, offshore, or related engineering fields Minimum 5 years of experience in the shipbuilding or offshore industry Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, delegation, and coordination Solid understanding of applicable rules and regulations Proactive, open‑minded, and able to work in a fast‑paced, international environment Fluent in spoken and written English Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD / design tools
