Buyer

ReOrbit is looking for a Senior Buyer to own the full procurement lifecycle, from RFPs to contracts and eventual delivery, as we push the boundaries of space data transfer. As our Senior Buyer, you will manage supplier relationships, lead complex sourcing initiatives, and handle everything from high-value subcontracts to everyday purchases. This role will be based in our headquarters in Helsinki, Finland. Responsibilities include leading the full RFP lifecycle, managing supplier relationships, establishing and negotiating subcontract agreements, serving as project owner for sourcing initiatives, driving cost savings, troubleshooting procurement challenges, and managing high-dollar and low-risk procurements. Requirements include 7+ years of supply chain experience, experience managing budgets and schedules, understanding contract structures, strategic sourcing experience especially in Asian and European markets, and English C1 level proficiency. Nice-to-haves include aerospace experience, self-starting attitude, effective communication, idea generation, and ERP experience.
