About the role

Do you want to help build the future of supported living? We are seeking an enthusiastic and development-oriented coordinator for a role that combines impactful client work with service development. The position is split between the TIE project “Support for independent living” (50%) and the supported housing coordination duties (50%). You will have the chance to pilot new living-support models, strengthen client participation and influence the future of Oma Häme’s disability services. In the TIE project you will develop new operating models that empower clients, self-determination, life management and opportunities for independent living; you will pilot moving preparation, coordinate peer activities, develop materials that support daily living, and test new digital and technical solutions with clients. You will collect client and carer feedback and help embed best practices into everyday services. As a support worker in supported living you will work in clients’ homes, supporting everyday skills, well-being, participation and as much independent living as possible. The role emphasizes a coaching approach, strengthening clients’ own resources and goal-oriented collaboration. We require a relevant social and health care qualification and an interest in client-centered development and guidance work. We particularly value experience in disability services, housing support or coaching work, a development-oriented mindset and enthusiasm for creating new operating methods, good collaboration and communication skills, ability to work independently and in networks, and interest in utilizing digital solutions in client work. The position requires a B driving license and access to own car, as the project work covers the entire Oma Häme region. Those working with the elderly and/or people with disabilities must provide a police clearance certificate as stated in the applicable law. The unit offers a unique opportunity to combine development work with practical client work and to help build services that support clients’ own lifestyles, strengthen participation and promote independent living. The TIE project continues until the end of 2027. During the project, work is split between project tasks and client work in supported housing. After the project ends, the role will continue as a permanent housing support worker in Oma Häme’s supported housing services. Oma Häme believes the best services come from working together with clients. If you want meaningful work, to develop new operating methods and to support clients on their path to more independent living, this job may be for you. The role’s pay is 2670.99 €/month. In addition, we pay a level-based allowance according to experience (0–8%). The length of service also determines accrual of vacation days. Applications are to be submitted by the deadline through the Kuntarekry system. Salary and other terms are governed by the SOTE agreement. There is a six-month trial. In the immediate patient and client-facing work, vaccination status described in the public health act is required. Oma Häme supports scientific research and may grant paid leave for studying or theses. We promote diversity and equality. Oma Häme is a non-smoking organization.
