About the role

As a project manager you are involved in building a functional life. We offer a workplace where your expertise makes a real impact. It is visible in buildings, industrial plants and infrastructure that operate intelligently and serve future generations. If you also want to build a more sustainable future, this might be your place. For us, “works” is not just a word but a mindset and a promise that things are done. With intelligence, skill, precision, perseverance, dedication and a hands-on approach. We are looking for an experienced project manager to work on electrical substation projects. Your base would preferably be Turku, Vantaa or Kuopio, but we operate nationwide with a hybrid model, so other offices are also available. In this role you will influence your tasks and work independently on various units, creating solutions. You will receive comprehensive onboarding and support from a competent team in your daily work. Your daily duties include: managing named projects; being responsible for project finances, quality and safety; sales and maintaining and developing customer relationships. Are you a person who creates a functional life? You will likely fit well at our company if you have prior experience in similar roles, experience in managing KVR projects, an electrical or energy engineering degree (engineer or DI/master), fluency in written and spoken English, strong organizational and stress-resilience skills, a customer-oriented mindset, responsible and determined work ethic with the ability to lead projects toward clear goals, the ability to work both independently and in a team, a drive to build collaboration and develop yourself and your expertise, and a problem-solving mindset. A valid driver’s license (B) and willingness to travel are essential for the role. What we offer: opportunities to work with diverse assignments and interesting clients; a dynamic work environment with smooth progression and the chance to influence your work through your strengths; a workplace where we value quality and safety as top priorities; ample freedom and responsibility with first-class tools to support your work; extensive occupational health services and wellness benefits (sport & culture); a collaborative and committed work community that helps you grow in your career; the possibility to work flexibly in our hybrid model. If this sounds like your next career step, apply now! Closing date is 13.9.2026, but we review applications during the process. The role can be filled as soon as a suitable candidate is found. Start date in accordance with the contract. For more information contact Caverion’s unit manager Seppo Hietaoja at 050 5336783 on Fridays 9–11.
