Municipal Manager

As the Municipal Manager of Ilmajoki you will have a direct influence on Ilmajoki’s future. A higher university degree suitable for the role is required. We expect understanding of municipal administration, leadership experience including personnel management and financial know‑how, and the ability to manage large entities. A readiness to develop, foster vitality and test new opportunities to support strategy is valued. The ability to advocate for the municipality, prepare, implement and monitor activities, and to engage actively in internal and cross‑municipal networks is essential. Experience in a similar role is advantageous. You are excited about the diversity of municipal work and see challenges as opportunities. General information related to the position: the position is a permanent contract. The position will start on 4 January 2027 or as agreed. A six‑month trial period applies.
