We are seeking a production foreman for our client in Rauma area to take on a versatile and responsible role in steel structures and the metal industry. The position involves leading demanding projects domestically and, if needed, internationally, and playing a central role in production, quality and personnel leadership. Responsibilities include daily production and site front-line management, coordinating project schedules, quality and resources, monitoring safety and quality compliance, documentation and reporting, coordinating with customers and stakeholders, and travel within Finland and abroad as project needs require. The job is full-time and permanent, mostly based at the client’s site, with willingness to travel. Requirements
- Strong technical background in metal industry
- Experience in steel construction, shipbuilding or machine shop industry
- Training in technician or engineer
- fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Finnish language skills
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
- NDT VT2 certification
- Valid safety and hot work certificates
- Knowledge of materials, manufacturing methods and standards for steel structures
- Strong computer skills (e.g., M365)
