**Kuukkeli & Lapponia Tours are looking for a Travel Sales Representative to strengthen our growing sales team in Saariselkä.** We are looking for an active, self-driven and customer-oriented sales professional to work with our wide range of tourism services. In this role, you will sell and build travel packages that may include accommodation, activities, transportation, restaurant services and other Lapland travel services. Our customers include both domestic and international individual travellers, groups, companies, travel agencies and tour operators. This position is suitable for someone who enjoys sales, working with people and varied working days, and who is able to independently manage customer relationships and sales processes from enquiry to completion. Your responsibilities may include, among other things: selling accommodation, activities, transportation and other tourism services; active customer acquisition and identifying new sales opportunities; handling individual, group and corporate bookings; preparing quotations and complete travel packages; communicating with domestic and international customers; serving B2B customers, tour operators and travel agencies; acquiring new customers and developing existing customer relationships; handling incoming sales enquiries and quotation requests by email and phone; creating and updating reservations in our booking systems; working closely with reception, activities, transportation and other operational teams; sales-related maintenance of products, pricing and availability; participating in the development of our sales operations and tourism services when needed; The exact responsibilities can also be adjusted based on the selected candidate's previous experience and strengths. What we expect from you? We are looking for someone with a strong commercial mindset, a results-oriented attitude and previous experience in tourism, sales or another similar commercial role. This position is not intended for someone completely at the beginning of their career. We expect you to be ready to take responsibility for customer relationships, sales and quotation processes with a fairly independent approach. We hope you have: a strong customer service and sales mindset; fluent English skills; good Finnish language skills; strong written and verbal communication skills; the ability to work independently and take responsibility for your own tasks; an organised and detail-oriented way of working; the ability to manage several customer relationships and sales processes simultaneously; a proactive and active approach to sales; good general IT skills; Previous experience in tourism sales, hotel reservations, group sales, B2B sales or working with tour operators is considered an advantage. Experience with tourism booking and sales systems is beneficial, but the most important thing is the ability to learn new systems quickly. The position is full-time and permanent. The exact starting date can be agreed with the selected candidate, but we expect the successful candidate to start no later than the beginning of November 2026. At least during the initial stages of employment, the work will primarily take place on-site at our offices in Saariselkä or Ivalo. This allows for effective onboarding, familiarisation with our products and services, and close cooperation with the rest of the team. As the employment progresses, the possibility of partial remote work can also be discussed, depending on the role, experience and practical arrangements.
